The image features the incredibly busty protagonist, Sakurachan and her acetylene torch-welding polar bear friend, Pora Bear. Lynda Baris guest-appears as the trio makes a daring escape from the malevolent, partially-robotic Snoshu and his army of laser-shooting undead dinosaur reindeer.
Will they escape this tyranny on the ice shelf? Are cross-genetic, theoretically extinct reanimated creatures really able to emit electromagnetic radiation? Can snowmobiles really have sidecars?
Yes they can! But tune in for the next episode of Ultra-Kawaii Sakurachan for more thrills, chills, and gills on grills!
I am so full of love for this! Thank you thank you thank you thank you!! This is probably the most amazing thing anyone's ever drawn for me and IT IS SO HAPPY. This is going to sound weird, but I loooooove Pora Bear's fur the most.
Snoshu is horrifically out-of-character and AWESOME! I will have to use rein-dinosaurs somewhere in the comic for whatever reason, possibly in advertisments. I love the snow and the background and all the laser beams and fire and more laser beams and THANK YOU STEFFAN YOU MAKE MY CHRISTMAS HAPPY
The shines and lighting on Lynda are goooorgeous too. Everything is perfect, right down to Pora Bear's crayon drawings on his snowmobile, and even though everyone's got their own spin from you, they're still themselves at the same time.
I'd still never trust Sakurachan with driving the snowmobile, but since she's got the hands to do so here, I'll just ignore her usual mental state for the time being.
Thank you so much, you are amazing and this is a wonderful, fantastic fanart and I want a poster
Hehe, I thought Sakurachan would be best suited for driving because, well... it probably wouldn't be a good idea to give her a gun, and she'd probably eat the assult fish, so maybe if she was given the task of driving the other two could tell her to go toward a shiny object or tell her there's food in a specific direction...
Yay! I'm so glad you like it though
It's going to be another few days for the poster because there are some bugs to clear up with it and some colors to adjust. Right now all of its elements take a gigabyte and a half of hard drive space and my computer hates opening it up. It's 2'x3' at 300 dpi with a ton of unmergable transparent layers.
A continuation of my unexpectedly-popular guide on Mary Sue prevention. Feedback and support is completely welcomed! Thank you all for your support so far.
Across the globe, 27 million men, women, and children live in some form of slavery. That is more people at this moment than in all the centuries of the Atlantic Slave Trade. Something must be done. This contest serves two purposes: Raising awareness about human trafficking and raising funds for the Not For Sale organization.
Open to all mediums. Deadline is March 10, 2010 @ 11:59pm PST.
