The party is about to enter the Far Realm in order to save the world from destruction on a Cthulhu-size scale. It's just shy of epic, I figure this could either be a terrain feature with something living in it, or even a monster itself.

As it turned out, the party managed to avoid 90% of the encounters in the Far Realm through creative use of spells and dumb luck.

Without getting too much into it, the sorceress used Limited Wish to get them out of the way of the danger and into the (relatively) safer areas without realizing it, she was just reacting to something else which presented a danger to a large number of NPCs.

Still a sweet fractal. =p
