I like the backround! That's a neat little concept I gotta try. And her pants... I have no clue why but I want those pants. So stylish... and glasses! Yay! Glasses rock! The smoking I'm not to fond of. If she's trying to fit in... she failed...

I can beat your bus trip by about 4 hours, I have no idea how long it took to get to the middle of South America so you may have me beaten on the plane. And... uh... People whosmell bad... never mind, you know my theory on that.

This may sound weird, but I really like those jagged shapes in the background. The face looks cool as do the pants shes wearing.

HEEE! I'd have to say this is my favorite piece I've seen from you! The linework is great as well as the coloring and the pose of the character.. It looks like it was actually taken from a comic book! GAAAUU!! Excellent!
